It’s okay.
Just let yourself feel what you’re feeling.
Take a deep breath,
let it flow through you like water.
This will pass,
just breathe.
You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to be.
You don’t need to understand
why or how,
just listen to inhalation and exhalation.
Let your mind be rocked, cradled
by the waves of your breath.
It’s okay, just feel what you’re feeling.
Take a deep breath.
Let it all flow through you like water.

    by the waves of your breath.” my mind loves to jump above the flow rather than stay in.

    • Thanks for reading Diahann, and for your presence here,your insight. Yes, my mind likes to jump above the flow also. It feels like when you step out of a delicious soak in a hot spring into the winter cold! You just want to get back in, but you might get so used to feeling cold that you forget about the warmth that is possible. And then when you finally get back in, it’s so lovely to be surrounded by that warmth, to be held…

      • Ah, yes, I have never thought of this before, dropping the mind into the womb. Thank you for the image. I’m going to try this soon. It’s easy to be up in the head and stay in the head. Recently I have been trying to draw more awareness to my heart, but I have never tried bathing the mind in the womb’s wisdom. Yes, thank you.
